Lisa Zahiya travels nationally and internationally as a life coach, event facilitator, coach, and speaker.
Lisa Zahiya is a life and small business coach who guides female entrepreneurs to build the business and lives of their dreams. She travels nationally and internationally coaching and speaking. Previously a dancer and performer, she is based in Asheville, NC where she is the founder & owner of Studio Zahiya, five time winner of "Best Place to Take a Dance Class.” She also owns Zahiya Bellydance, a comprehensive Bellydance program, Asheville Bachelorette Parties, and Lisa Zahiya Coaching, a coaching program for entrepreneurs.
Lisa holds an MBA from the Robert H Smith School of Business at University of Maryland. After graduation, she worked as a director of internet marketing for Sylvan Learning Centers. After leaving her job to follow her passion of dance, she moved to Asheville, where she founded Studio Zahiya and toured internationally as a dance instructor.
Lisa is an in-demand speaker. In 2018 she was the keynote speaker at Creative Mornings Asheville and did a popular TEDx talk, Let’s Have a Party. She has spoken to groups and audiences across the US. She has taught workshops on body image and self-love, as well as entrepreneurship. She is known as a dynamic and engaging speaker
At home, she has taught at the University of North Carolina, Asheville, Warren Wilson College and Western Carolina University. She serves as an Ambassador for lululemon Athletica, Asheville. She lives in downtown Asheville and strives to make her businesses as interesting and dynamic as the city around her.

Manager, Zahiya Online
Heather was born in Chicago, but has deep roots in Western North Carolina where she has resided most of her life. Heather is an artist, marathoner, fitness enthusiast, and herbalist. She has published a book on Herbal Body Care with Sterling Press. She is the Assistant Director of the national non-profit member organization, the American Herbalists Guild. At Zahiya Online, Heather specializes in customer experience with dance clients and manages the day to day operations. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, dancing, yoga, gardening.

Megan grew up in California but has spent a majority of her adult life on the east coast. She moved to Asheville, NC 2012 and has happily made this town her home. Megan has a background in customer experience and management and has a passion for assisting small businesses in these two areas. At Zahiya Online, Megan specializes in customer experience with both dance and coaching clients and fine tunes operations on the backend. She enjoys traveling, HIIT workouts, dancing, reading, making bread and spending time with friends outdoors.
